Changes to irc.dal.net

Greetings Dalnetizens!
In response to feedback/complaints from users, we have changed the way irc.dal.net works.
Starting today, irc.dal.net will place you randomly on one of our public servers. ix.dal.net will place you on one of our IX servers, if your ISP is able to reach one of them.
Previously, irc.dal.net would place you on either a public server or an IX server - but not all of our users ISP's could reach an IX server. In those cases, people couldn't connect without trying again.
We hope this makes things a bit smoother for you all =) |
